What we collect
Your name and email when you create an account, plus anything you add to your profile: campus, year or major, and a profile photo. If you become a provider, we store your headline, bio, services, prices, hours, and portfolio photos. If you sell an item, we store the listing text, price, and photos. We store every booking you make or receive and every message you send.
What we use it for
To show your profile and listings to other students, to run bookings between you and a provider, and to deliver messages. We use your email for login codes and booking notifications. Nothing is sold to third parties.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep you logged in. Analytics cookies, which only run if you allow them in the banner, tell us which screens are used and which key actions happen (a booking is created, a listing is published). You can change your choice by clearing the site data in your browser.
Who can see what
Your provider profile and listings are public to anyone visiting the site. Bookings are visible to you and the other party. Messages are visible only to the two participants.
Payments
GeauxGigs does not process payments. You pay providers and sellers directly. We never see or store card details.
Deleting your data
From Account you can delete your listings, provider profile, services, and open time slots immediately. Bookings and messages already shared with another student stay in their history. Login records are removed by the GeauxGigs team after your request.
